My week #35

Here are my pages for this week.  I haven't used my Russian doll stickers for a while but I am still completely in love with them!

My week in my Filofax #35

On Monday I hit 500 followers on Instagram which is amazing!  I really can't believe so many people want to see my photos.  I usually try to post at least one picture a day but that hasn't happened this month because of my holiday and the children being home.  It is the 1st of September tomorrow so I will try to start posting daily again.

The rest of my week has involved getting things ready for school starting again.  Lots of shopping and labelling has been going on but I think I am ready now.  It feels weird knowing things will be going back to "normal".  No more duvet days, movie marathons or building forts, I feel quiet sad about it!  I'm sure it will be half term before I know it though and we still have the weekends to have some fun.

I expect my pages to start getting a bit busier next week as I will have to make notes about two new school timetables but I am hoping to be able to stay in personal size and not have to go back up into my A5.  I might have to experiment a bit to work things out but I am going to give it at least a month before I decide anything.

Thanks for reading and have a great week!

My week #34

The weather has been quite wet and grey this week and I found myself drawn to a darker theme for my pages.  It wasn't depressing though because they were nestled inside my Original Filofax and that sunny yellow leather always makes me smile!

I read a post by Zoe At Home the other week that really struck a chord with me.  It was about taking time out once a week to get away from it all even if it was just popping out for a coffee by yourself.  I was discussing this with my husband and he said he would take the children over to the park so I could have a long relaxing bath and a pamper.  It was really nice to spend some time alone and not have anyone knocking on the door because they needed to use the toilet or fancied a chat!  I felt great afterwards and really calm and de-stressed.  It is amazing how some music and a few candles can transform your regular bathroom into a mini spa!

I feel like I have been neglecting my blog a little by only posting my weekly pages over the summer.  It is quite hard to find the time to write a post and take the photos to go along with it while the children are off school.  I have still been coming up with lots of ideas though and making a note of them so once school has started again and I'm back into the swing of things I should be posting more often.  I will also have some guest posts for you from other bloggers through the Philofaxy All Stars Tour so keep an eye out for those!

Thanks for reading!

My week #33

Here are my pages for this week.  I have been busy planning my part of this years Philofaxy All Stars Tour so that has involved lots of emails and thinking of ideas for guest posts.  I am really excited to be taking part and I can't wait to get started!

On Wednesday I made a blog button.  If you are viewing this on a computer you should be able to see it on the right hand side of the screen.  Making the button itself was quite easy, it was adding the grab box underneath it that was the tricky part but I got there in the end.  I feel quite proud of myself!

My week #32

So I made it home safe and sound on Friday.  I really loved my time in Devon but there's nothing like coming home and sleeping in your own bed!  Things got a little disorganised last week, I'd planned to do certain things on certain days but the weather dictated our activities so things got changed around.  We did manage to do everything we wanted to just not on the days I had thought we would.

My week in my Filofax #32

Big Sheep was a lot of fun, if you are ever in Devon it is definitely worth taking a drive out there and spending the day.  The staff were all fantastic and friendly and the shows entertaining for children and adults too!  The sheep race was one of my favourite things of the day, even though my sheep didn't win it was still a lot of fun.

If you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen this.  I brought a greetings card from Big Sheep which I have trimmed down and punched to use as a divider in my Filofax.  It will remind me of my holiday when ever I see it and I like the silly joke too.

This is real sheep's wool, it is so soft!

To finish off this post here are a few of my holiday photos if you want to take a look.

My week #31

This is a really quick post to show you this week's pages.  I might be sat on a beach right now or hidden underneath an umbrella as I am on holiday and have scheduled this to publish while I am away!  I am not sure how regularly I will get online so if you comment and I don't reply I am not being rude and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
