My week #12

I wanted a pink and gold theme this week but it ended up being more pink and yellow than I would have liked.  I do love the star washi tape and matching reinforcements though!

My week in my Filofax #12

Did you notice my new star shaped Check It Off stamps?  The set has lots of different style stamps to choose from so I can match them to my theme each week and I wont get annoyed when I can't draw perfect circles for my to do lists anymore!

I was so excited about the solar eclipse that was happening on Friday, it was the main reason for the stars/lunar elements of my week.  I used the moon stamp to mark the date in my diary and then used the rest of the How's the Weather Planner Stamps to record the weather for the week.  I tried to get some photos of the eclipse but it was too cloudy here to see it properly.  Oh the disappointment!

Did you get to see the eclipse wherever you are in the world?

My week #11

If you read my Planner Friday post last week you will have already seen some of my foxy theme, here it is all filled in.  I had trouble with the pages this week, I thought they would look awful!  Firstly my youngest daughter managed to spill some of her drink while I was filling them in, you can see where it got wet on the Tuesday section and then I dropped one of my journalling stamps just after I had used it getting ink where I didn't want it!

My week in my Filofax #11

The stamped landed just under the fox's tail, leaving a light imprint of the word "Busy" so I smudged it straight away and then smudged some more ink under the fox too to try and make it look like it was supposed to be part of the decoration.  I have never had such an accident prone week before!  I think in future I will have to be more careful.... and keep small children with drinks away from my planning supplies.  At least it was only the pages that got wet and not my Filofax!

Planner Friday - March

It is time for another Planner Friday over on Twine it up with Trendy Twine!

Hello!  It is Planner Friday again and I am here to show you how I have been prettying up my planner pages this week.  If you don't already know me, I am Amanda from She's Eclectic and if you do, hi and welcome back!

This week I decided to indulge my little fox obsession and based my theme around it.  As usual I used my At Home planner stamps and the School Days set to help me keep track of the things I needed to do or remember.  Monday was going to be an especially busy day for me so I used a journal tag to to hold the extra info I needed.

My week #10

I wanted to make this week's pages fun and colourful but I'm not too happy with how they turned out.  I can't put my finger on what is wrong but they just don't inspire me at all.  I guess it doesn't really matter as I mainly use my Filofax to stay organised and only decorate the pages for fun but I don't like it when I have an off week.

My week in my Filofax #10

I tend to decorate the pages as I go along, I usually only add the washi tape and a couple of stickers at the start of the week and then fill in any blank spaces I am left with during the week.  I know some people decorate them all first and then work around the stickers etc but my weeks can change quickly so I need to keep some room on each day to add a note or appointment.  If I don't use that space I can fill it in with a stamp, a sticker or doodle my blog stats to keep me motivated.

Do you decorate your pages at the start of the week or as you go along?  Or do you just keep it simple and not decorate at all?

My week #9

This week's theme was springtime in Paris to celebrate the beginning of spring.  I was so happy to greet March and then yesterday it snowed... really, is it too much to ask for a little sunshine and some flowers?

My week in my Filofax #9

I had nothing much exciting going on, lots of my reminders and to do's were the usual weekly ones.  I always transfer these things over each week because I like not having to remember them.  I know that I have to put the rubbish out on a Monday night every week but writing it down means I definitely won't forget and it's one less thing I have to store in my head.  I think it's called brain dumping, you transfer the information onto paper and then you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Do you write down everything in your planner or are there some things you are sure you will remember?

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
