It was a very lucky week for me as I won a couple of competitions and was selected to do some product tests and reviews too through a company called Toluna. I have been a member of Toluna for years now and I love doing product tests for them as you get to keep what you test afterwards and who doesn't love a freebie?
On Sunday we decided to celebrate Mothers Day early and went out for a family meal as the restaurants were crazy busy last year and that kind of ruined the day. I love the salad bar at the Harvester and the blue cheese dressing which, as my hubby likes to tease me, is odd because I hate blue cheese.
After the meal I popped into WH Smiths to fondle the Filofaxes which I think is quite a nice way to while away a Sunday afternoon!
Haha you're a self-confessed Filo-fondler!!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes I am!! ;)
DeleteOoh I joined Toluna-thanks for that; never heard of it before. Can see that being addictive but I just gambled all my 1800 points on virtual goodies & a prize draw. Oh well, better than gambling with cash I suppose! Looking forward to getting the chance to test some 'interesting' products...Atm there is only the option of a sponge to clean an electric hob. Not exactly excited by that :/ & our's is gas !!! xxx
ReplyDeleteOn Toluna there are two types of product tests, the first you have to go onto the site and register that you would like to test what is available that day/week which means you have to remember to go and check out what is listed and tbh I forget to do that a lot of the time. The second is where Toluna think you would be the target customer for a new product and they send you a survey to fill in and if you meet their criteria they will send you the product to test and another survey to complete about it afterwards. The more of the general surveys you fill in the more idea what kind of person you are so they can invite you to the right product tests. You also get the points for each general survey you complete which you can use for tickets into the prize draws or save up for gift vouchers. I hope that helps and good luck with the draw!
