My week #4

I realised this week that I travelled more as a child than I have as an adult.  I went to Paris on a school trip years ago and to be honest the only strong memory I have of it is ordering crêpes with a chocolate filling from some kind of food truck.  I would love to go back again now and do all of the touristy things people usually associate with city.

My week #4

When I saw these stickers in Paperchase I thought it would be fun to do a Paris theme and indulge in a bit of my wonderlust.  Coffee and macarons in a little café on a quiet side street sounds like a perfect way to send an afternoon to me!

My week #2

So it's still January and I kind of just want to hibernate until mid February, it's too cold and dull outside and I feel sluggish and uninspired.  I thought some pink, sparkly unicorns would cheer me up so I went with a completely over the top theme for the second week of the year and it worked, I did feel much brighter every time I opened my planner.... though today I'm feeling a bit more meh about things.

My week #2

I am enjoying using my Just So Stationery inserts, I used pink ink for my stamps this week and I am glad to say none of it bled through to the other side of the paper or shows through at all.  Last year I was alternating weeks between my Filofax inserts and the Webster's Pages diary so the ink wouldn't be a problem.  It's nice being able to use one set of inserts now and they take up less room on my rings.

I have launched my second blogiversary giveaway, this one is on my Facebook page and is for a caramel Webster's Pages planner.  There is also still time to enter the blog giveaway here if you haven't done it yet.  I will be launching my third and final giveaway on Instagram over the next few days so keep an eye out for that one too!

Thanks for stopping by!

My week #47

It was my birthday last week so I went with an over the top pink and girly theme for my pages to cheer me up and stop me feeling old!  It was also a really busy week so I had quite a few more notes and reminders than usual.

My week #47

My eldest daughter was away on a school trip for most of the week, she missed my big day but I did get a phone call from her headmaster first thing on Wednesday morning so she could wish me a happy birthday.  To be honest I was surprised she remembered, she's only nine!

I have been doing lots of Christmas preparation too, I have ordered my turkey, nearly completed my gift shopping and have a stack of cards to write and post before the end of the month.  I just want to spend December relaxing and having fun with my family instead of stressing about being ready and finishing a massive to do list.

My week #42

I think this week might be one of my favourite weeks ever!  I went for a mooch around town and found myself outside a Paperchase store so of course I went in.  They had so many cute stickers and fab stationery bits that I felt quite giddy walking through the shop and looking at it all.

My week #42

I love foxes and woodland animals and the colour of these stickers felt very autumnal too so I decided to grab myself a set and use them right away.  I matched them with peach washi tapes and orange and brown Trendy Page Dots reinforcements.  The pièce de résistance is the Sass & Belle stag head paper clip, I think it is really fun!  I can see me using it in December too as it also looks like a festive reindeer.

She's Eclectic - Enabling Filofax love!

Since I started blogging about my Filofax a few people have told me that I had convinced them to buy one for themselves!   I asked them to send me some photos of their binders so I could share them with you.

Stephanie at Never Mind Suzi brought a lovely A5 teal binder from Paperchase and wrote about it here

Dawn at Reflective Ramblings Of An OU Student brought a red Metropol in pocket size and wrote about it in her blog too.  I know she has also ordered a purple Malden now and I'm so jealous!

Slooky brought an A5 Domino in red and some coloured pens and lots stickers and was kind enough to take some photos for me.

My friends Frances, Kate, Kelly, Mindy and Keyonna all felt the Apex love and brought one each.   I know some people don't like the Apex binders but the colours are fun, they are a good price for a starter Filofax (especially if you are not sure it is a system that is going to work for you) and you don't have to worry about throwing it in your bag along with everything else and hoping it doesn't get damaged.

I am so happy you all love your Filofaxes and thank you for taking the time to take these photos and sending them to me! If anyone else has brought one after reading my blog I would love to know, I'd like to make it up to a nice round ten soon!
