#filophotofriday - April round up and May's prompts

Apologies, when I usually write these posts I include photos that other people have taken for my challenge.  Today I'm having a technical issue with Instagram and it won't load the photos when I search for the #filophotofriday tag so I can only show you my pics.

4th - pink

My Easter week pages were very, very pink.  I love the rabbit washi tape and the fun hole reinforcements.

Pink

11th - happy

I know I already showed you my cupcake charm during this post but it was upside down in that photo and I really wanted to show it off the right way round!  Look at that little smile!  It definitely makes me happy.  If you want your own cupcake charm you can contact Ruth through her Etsy shop, she's lovely and very helpful.

Happy

18th - Easter

You can't get much more Eastery (that's a word right?) than a hot cross bun and a chocolate bunny!  I ate the bun after I took this shot but the rabbit went back in the cupboard because it wasn't Easter Sunday and I'm a good girl.

Easter

25th - treat

A big mug of hot chocolate and an almond croissant is one of my favourite treats.

Here are the prompts for May, anyone with any kind of planner can join in.

May's prompts

Take your photo during the week and then share it on Friday with the #filophotofriday tag on Instagram and Twitter.  Thank you to everyone who played along this month!  I did see your photos as they were posted, it's just today when the feed wouldn't refresh for me to choose my favourites to share.

Have a great week!

My week #17

Are you ready for another colourful week?  I don't know why but when I use these rainbow enforcements from Annies Paper Boutique I just have to splash my pages with colour to match them!

My week in my Filofax #17

The quote I used this week was "Today is a gift" yeah I'm quoting Kung Fu Panda now and using stickers to match it!  The whole thing goes:

Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
but today is a gift,
that's why it's called the "present".

Ok, so I know it was said by an ancient cartoon tortoise but it still feels quite profound to me.  I like to remind myself to enjoy the now instead of worrying about things I can't change either in the past or future.

I was going to use the stickers I brought from Artbox to highlight important dates in my diary but I liked them so much when I opened them that I used one for every day this week.  Can you see I followed the colours of the rainbow with them too?  Except for pink at the end that is, I couldn't find two different shades of purple so I went with a pink one.  Look at me, breaking the rules!

I have toned down my pages for next week so you wont be needing your sunglasses but you might need a pocket watch and a small piece of cake...

Thanks for reading!

April Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week three

April is flying by, I can't believe the third week is already over!  Here are the photos I took last week for the photo-a-day challenge.

Day fifteen - where you live

In books!  I get completely immersed in a good book, their world becomes my world.  I cry when they cry and laugh when they laugh, sometimes when I finish a book I feel a bit lost finding myself back in real life instead of the one found inside the pages I have been reading.  I think it's called a book hangover?

Day fifteen - where you live

Day sixteen - wanted!

I wanted this set of art cards from Ikea when I saw them on Instagram!  I'm not sure whether I want to punch them and put them in my Malden as they go so well together or frame them and put them up around the house.

Day sixteen - wanted

Day seventeen - something made

Every now and then I feel the need to get crafty and make something.  I am a bit of a dab hand at making headbands for my girls now so this is one I made recently.  I was going to keep it for myself but I'm not sure it's a look I can pull off and my eldest claimed it for herself the minute it was finished anyway.

Day seventeen - something made

Day eighteen - very special and Day nineteen - floral

I feel like a bit of a cheat combining two days together but it's been hard to keep on track with this challenge while the children are at home from school.  These flowers are special because they are from my husband and ,well, they are definitely floral!

Days eighteen & nineteen - very special & floral

Day twenty - plans for today

I didn't really have a plan for Easter Sunday other than having family visit us and eating chocolate!  It was a very enjoyable day.

Day twenty - plans for today

Day twenty-one - stickies

I love this booklet of Rilakkuma sticky notes, they are very very cute.

Day twenty-one - stickies

There is still time to join in with the challenge, it is open to any kind of planner users and not just Filofaxes.  It is a lot of fun!
