July Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week five

It is the final day of the challenge today so here are the last few photos I have taken and shared this month.

Day twenty-seven - Don't forget

I have this note in my diary so I don't forget to pack the camera for our holiday this week.

Day twenty-seven - don't forget

Day twenty-eight - Where to?

As it was Sunday the only trip I made was to the local shop to buy the newspapers and a bar of chocolate.  I have become slightly addicted to Cadbury's Marvellous Creations jelly popping candy shells bar, it is lovely!

Day twenty-eight - where to?

Day twenty-nine - Stuffed or svelte

I think my Original is a happy medium, she definitely isn't svelte and there is still plenty of room on the rings.

Day twenty-nine - stuffed or svelte

Day thirty - Treasure or token

I keep this little thank you note in my Filofax because it is just so pretty.

Day thirty - treasure or token

Day thirty-one - Happiness is.....

My A5 Apex, if I hadn't brought this Filofax I wouldn't have become part of the amazing planning community I discovered through Philofaxy and Instagram!

Day thirty-one - happiness is...

My week #30

Here is my first week in personal size!  I really like it.

My week in my Filofax #30

Downsizing has been quite easy as I have less to remember while the children are off from school.  I will have to see how things go in September when they go back but I really want to stay in this size if I can.

Close up

Do you like my heart shapped paperclip?  I found a pin on Pinterest showing you how to bend a regular paperclip into this.  I have repinned it on to my Filofax Love  board if you want to have a go yourself.  It did take me a couple of attempts to get it right but I got there in the end!

Close up

That's it for now, thanks for stopping by and reading.  Have a great week!

July Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week four roundup

Here are my photos from week four of the challenge.

Day twenty - Represent your range

My pocket size Amazona in black and raspberry Chameleon, my A5 Apex in pink and my yellow Original in personal size.  That's my whole collection for now, wouldn't an aqua Malden go really well?

Day twenty - represent your range

Day twenty-one - Morning routine

I usually get up half an hour earlier than everyone else so I have a chance to check my blog, Instagram and Philofaxy and then my Filofax to see what I need to remember and do each day.

Day twenty-one - morning routine

Day twenty-two - Outside

We are still in the middle of a heatwave so this photo was taken while I was outside sunbathing with a frozen cocktail.... bliss!  Please ignore the dead grass, it is a price I am willing to pay for some lovely weather.

Day twenty-two - outside

Day twenty-three - Sections

The sections I have in my Original at the moment are To Do, Lists, Passwords, Blog and Contacts.

Day twenty-three - sections

Day twenty-four - Cute

I think my Russian doll umbrella is very cute, it makes me happy even in the rain!

Day twenty-four - cute

Day twenty-six - Lists

I write myself daily to do lists in the diary section of my Filofax so I can see straight away what needs to be done.  I use the To Do section to write things that can be completed over time instead of right away.

Day twenty-six - lists

There are only five days of the challenge left so I will post those photos next Thursday.  I am already looking forward to the next challenge from Friday, I'm in love!

My week #29

This week was quite busy as it was the last week of school.  Now the holidays have started I think my pages will be a little less full.  It might be the perfect time to stop using my A5 Apex and start showing you my personal size pages instead next week!

My week in my Filofax - week 29

On Monday I went to my son's concert.  He has been learning to play the trumpet at school this year.  All the children have really improved since the first concert they did before Christmas.  They know a few more notes now!

Close up

We took the children swimming yesterday, it was a great way to spend an afternoon as it has been so hot recently.  I'm glad we live close to the pool, it means we can go whenever the mood takes us!

Thanks for reading and have a great week!

July Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week three round up

Week three is coming to an end already, here are my photos.

Day thirteen - Today's agenda

We went to a family party in Oxford on Saturday.  Seventy five miles each way in a car on the hottest day of the year so far but it was a brilliant day!

Day thirteen - today's agenda

Day fourteen - The leaning tower of Filofaxes

A small but growing collection.  My A5 pink Apex, personal yellow Original, pocket Amazona in black and my raspberry pocket size Chameleon.

Day fourteen - leaning tower of Filofaxes

Day fifteen - Handwritten

I have been writing my packing lists for our holiday so I don't forget anything.

Day fifteen - handwritten

Day sixteen - Planning ahead

I have started filling out my August pages, planning some summer activities to keep the children busy.

Day sixteen - planning ahead

Day seventeen - Celebrate

I chose today for my celebrate theme as it is the last day of school and the summer holidays begin at 3.15pm!

Day seventeen - celebrate

Day eighteen - Washi tape: yay or nay?

It has to be a yay for me, I love decorating my pages with washi tape.

Day eighteen - washi tape: yay or nay?

Day nineteen - Next month

I'm really looking forward to August, I am hoping for lots of fun in the sun!

Day nineteen - next month

Thanks for reading and I will be posting my weekly pages over the weekend.

My week #28

The weeks really are flying by, I feel like I've only just posted last weeks pages!

My week in my Filofax #28

There is a little Rilakkuma theme going on this week.  I liked the sticky note head so much I couldn't bring myself to write on it so it's there purely for decoration.

Close up

I've been sorting out some things that I will need for my holiday this week, I can't wait to go!  I am going to try and finish everything on my holiday to do list over the next two weeks so I only have to pack our things the following week.  There are 14 things on there at the moment so I will try to do two a day and tick them off.

Close up

I have started to move into my Original Filofax this week.  I have my to do lists and packing lists in there and I am trying to use the personal size diary too.  I'm not happy with how the diary pages are looking yet so I will keep using them and start posting those once I'm happier with them.  Until then I will keep posting my A5 pages.

Inside

This is how she is looking inside right now.  I really love my tabs and the postcard I have trimmed down and punched to fit.  It is a work in progress but I think they look great!

July Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week two round up

These are my week two photos I have taken for the challenge.

Day six: Lunch time

My A5 Apex and my salad.  As salads go it wasn't that healthy but it was delicious!

Day six - lunch time

Day seven: Wish list

This Gillio companga in croco pink is on my wish list.  I chose this one for the challenge as I'm sure everyone already knows I want the aqua Malden when it comes out!

Day seven - wish list

This image was taken from the Gillio website and is not my own.

Day eight: Inspirational

Let go or be dragged, I find it hard to let go of things so this is just a little reminder to "inspire" me to relax and stop stressing about things I have no control over.

Day eight - Inspirational

Day nine: Planning must haves

My Filofax and my stationery case.  The case is brilliant as it is big enough to hold pens, pencils, post its, paper clips, stickers and washi tape and still has room to spare!

Day nine - planning must haves

Day ten: Colourful

I have changed the colour theme on my mobile to match my lovely yellow Original, I think they are very colourful together.

Day ten - colourful

Day eleven: Your name

My name is printed on the front cover of my dividers.  I have written about them before here.

Day eleven - your name

Day twelve: What's inside that pocket?

In the zipped pocket of my Original I have a plastic card with a selection of washi tape wrapped around it and a little pack of mini memo notes.

Day twelve - what's inside that pocket?

Thanks for reading and I will post my week three round up next Friday.

There is still one day left to vote for the Philofaxy 2013 awards if you haven't voted yet please head over there and take a look.  I am currently in third place for both the Best New Filofax Blogger and the Best All Rounder so thank you to everyone who has voted for me!

My week #27

It was my tenth wedding anniversary this week so I just had to go with a pink and hearts theme.

My week in my Filofax - week 27

The five of us went out for a meal to celebrate, no it wasn't romantic but it was fun.  By the time we reach our twentieth anniversary I'm sure our children won't want to join us for our date so I think I should enjoy it while it lasts!

Close up

Thursday was another great day, I was nominated for TWO Philofaxy awards.... but I've already written about that here.  You still have time to vote for the awards if you haven't already, head over to Philofaxy and pick your winners!

Close up

Thanks for reading and have a lovely week!

Saturday, 6 July 2013

A big thank you!

I was completely surprised on Thursday to discover I had been nominated for not one but two Philofaxy awards!

1st award nomination

2nd award nomination

I am up for the Best New Filofax Blogger and the Best All Rounder.  I just wanted to say thank you to whoever took the time to nominate me for these awards, it really means so much to me.  I started my blog six months ago and discovered this amazing community of people who feel the same way I do about planning, Filofaxes and stationery.  It's lovely to know people who get excited about binders and post it notes etc and I have made some fantastic new friends.
If you haven't voted yet please take a look here and choose your winners.  You still have a week to do it.  I won't stand here waving a flag and shouting through a megaphone "pick me, pick me" because I'm up against some of my favourite bloggers but if you read the nominations and want to vote for me that would be pretty great!

Thanks again and I will be posting my weekly pages tomorrow.  Have a great weekend!

July Filofax photo-a-day challenge, week one round up

As I mentioned last week I am taking part in Friday, I'm in love's new Filofax photo-a-day challenge. These are the photos I have taken and shared on Instagram so far.

Day one: Love

I obviously love my Filofax, that's pretty much what this blog is about!

Day one - Love

Day two: Currently using

I am still using my pocket size Amazona as my purse and notebook, I just love the feeling of the leather on this Filofax.

Day two - Currently using

Day three: Brand new

The Original is my newest binder.  I have started to set her up but I'm not quite ready to move into her just yet.

Day three - Brand new

Day four: Next to something

As day four was the 4th July I took a photo of my Amazona next to the American goodies in the world food isle of the supermarket.

Day four - Next to something

Day five: Planner and bag

Today's photo is of my A5 Apex and my favourite bag.  Both of them are very big and hold a lot! The bag is from Accessorize, I brought it 18 months ago but it still looks as good as new.

Day five - Planner and bag

It is not too late to join in with the challenge, you can share your photos on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook with the hash tag #fflovephotoaday or on Flicker. All the info is posted on Friday, I'm in love so go and take a look!
I will do another round up post for this challenge next Friday.
