If you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen this. I brought a greetings card from Big Sheep which I have trimmed down and punched to use as a divider in my Filofax. It will remind me of my holiday when ever I see it and I like the silly joke too.
This is real sheep's wool, it is so soft! |
To finish off this post here are a few of my holiday photos if you want to take a look.

Thanks for reading!
I noticed you had postcards written in your planner. We haven't received one. :-S We got one from C and D the day you were all heading home. Like the photo of the sheep race.
ReplyDeleteI used to buy those sheep cards in the 90s. I still have one.
Lol I got the cards on Monday but kept forgetting to post them, I think the only post box is on the High Street so we didn't see one down the seafront where we spent the most time >.< I ended up putting them in my suitcase and bringing them home so I will get them posted tomorrow.... sorry!
DeleteThe sheep race was funny, I'm surprised how quickly they ran to get the food when they were fed treats all day.
Yeah I've seen those cards for years but never brought one before because I didn't want to send it to anyone, I wanted to keep it but had nothing to use it for so it seemed pointless until now ;)
I shouldn't worry about sending it now! ;-)
DeleteI don't know about sheep, but with all the local fairs going on around my way, I keep hearing about pig races! My kids and I have never seen them before, so we're thinking about it, if time, finances, and weather ALL allow!.. Love your scenic photos of the sunset and the harbor! ~tina
ReplyDeleteOh I bet pig races are fun too! Thanks Tina, I like taking photos of things that don't move ;)
DeleteIf you don't mind... I found your blog through the Filofax FB page. I was wondering... do you feel the strap on the original is to short when you put two pens in it? Or, if you do. I have the A5 Original and use it for finances, so I'm not in it that much. But I'm kind of concerned about the strap. I'd like to get a personal original but worry about it. I have more in my personal now than I do in the A5 so it's a concern. Thanks for any advice you an give me. *HUGS*
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I have to say after using the Original as my "main" Filofax for a few weeks I do find the strap a little short. I took out the 2014 diary that came with binder and put it away and just added a few more sheets of notepaper onto the rings and I only put a pen in the loop nearest the rings and nothing in the other two sections. The contents of this filo only just reaches the top of one of the rings when they are open so it is certainly not stuffed..... but..... the leather underneath where the strap closes is starting to "worry" a little :'( If you asked me to take a photo I probably wouldn't be able to capture it, it is a teeny tiny bit of yellow leather that wrinkles up slightly and I can push it back down into place but if it does that with such a slim contents I worry about people who carry more. I lusted after the Original since the Philofaxy announcement and I do love it but if the strap was half an inch or so bigger I'd be happier with it. Sorry for rambling on but I hope you find it useful!
