Messages for you, on your special day - a letter book by From you to me

Do you remember a little while back I reviewed the Dear Mum journal by From you to me?  Well Kerri contacted me recently and asked if I would like to take a look at their new book Messages for you, on your special day.  I had seen a little info about it on their Twitter account and liked the idea behind it so I said yes!

Messages for you, on your special day

Messages for you, on your special day is an ideal gift for someone who has a big event coming up like a special birthday, an engagement, wedding or anniversary, graduation or even the birth of a child.  Instead of pages the book contains 16 beautifully illustrated pocket envelopes with coordinating sheets of thick, luxurious notepaper.

Illustrated envelope

The idea of the book is for you, your friends and family to write notes or letters using the paper supplied and then pop them into the envelopes and give the completed book to your very lucky recipient on their special day.

Pocket with matching notepaper

The pockets are big enough to hold photographs and memorabilia as well as the letters making it a great keepsake gift.

Share your special memories in a letter

Can you imagine how lovely it would be to receive a book full of best wishes, memories and stories on your 50th birthday or wedding anniversary?  I think it would be pretty amazing!

Personalise your book

To personalise your book there two sheets of stickers with a wide range of events to choose from.  The first sheet has birthdays on it:

  • 16th
  • 18th
  • 21st
  • 30th
  • 40th
  • 50th
  • 60th
  • 70th
  • 80th
  • 90th
  • 100th

The second sheet has lots of occasions:

  • Engagement
  • Hen Do
  • Wedding Day
  • Anniversary
  • Baby Shower
  • Christening

If you can't find the right sticker for your event then you can just leave the cover saying "On your special day".

The book costs £20 and can be purchased here.  I really think it is a brilliant gift to give someone!  What do you think?
