Linky's splendid stationery box - October '14

Are you ready to see what was inside my latest Linky box?  For those of you who don't know what a Linky box is, it is a monthly box jam packed full of lovely stationery!  It is not a subscription service so you can order one at a time or pre order boxes for the following months too, it is up to you.  Leah the owner of www.linkysdream.co.uk packs each box with care and she selects products that she thinks you will love.  Each box is different instead of everyone just getting the same things!

My parcel arrived in this jelly bean wrapping paper,
it is so colourful and fun!

Under the lid was a thank you for my purchase
 card and a sprinkling of
sequins.

My first glimpse inside!  I love the trail of
glitter card.

I got this beautiful rose dashboard, some sweeties
and a pack of notepaper.  I really like
 the quote on it.

I also got my own wand, how cool is that?  The blue
heart is a pencil sharpener and the glittery
shapes are stickers. I love my kitty cat
paper clip, pink pen and the flower charm too.

Inside the floral envelope were all these cute
bits and pieces.

There was also these stickers, note papers
and cards.

I got a set of project life cards, a Vogue postcard
and the glitter quote card.

Look how many parcels I had to unwrap this month!
It was so fun tearing them open.

In the first four parcels were these super cute planner stickers,
a roll of rose washi tape, a roll of heart deco tape
and this lovely hot air balloon notebook.

There was also this Pilot fountain pen with
blue ink.

Look, look, look.... foxes!! I was so happy when I opened
one of the parcels and found this notebook!  It
matches the rubber/eraser that was also in
the box this month.

The last few bits were this owl sticky note set, some pretty
page flags and a roll of stickers too.

I am so pleased with everything I received, there is nothing in here that I don't like or wouldn't use!  If you don't have a Filofax you can have a box with just stationery pieces in it and none of the planner bits and when you order there is a section for you to fill in to let Leah know the kind of things and colours you like too.

If you would like to see what I have had in my previous boxes you can read about them here or you can see what Mrs Brimbles has got in hers and what Angel Jem got in her one here.

I would love to know what you got in your box if you have ordered one before, please let me know in the comments or leave me a link to check out.

Thanks for stopping by!

My week #39

Once Upon A Time started again last night in America so I did a fairytale theme for the week to celebrate!  Snow and Red are a couple of my favourite characters from the show so I used stickers of them both.  I haven't actually watched the new episode yet, I'm waiting until tonight so I can watch it with my friend.  I'm kind of excited to see it!

My week in my Filofax #39

Do you see that crease on the right hand page?  It's been driving me mad since it happened, I leant across to grab something and managed to fold the paper over on itself.  It's should only be a little annoyance but as I look inside my Filofax so often through out the day it's been niggling at me!

I noticed while I was writing this post that it is my 200th one, I definitely think that milestone deserves a nice cup of tea and a biscuit!

Planner Friday - September

My latest Design Team post is now up on Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine, please pop over and take a look if you want a sneak peek of my pages for this week.

Hello!  It's Planner Friday again, they always come round so fast!   These are the products I have used for my pages this week.

So the photo above is how my week started out and the one below is how it is shaping up now.  I love using the At Home Planner Stamps, they save me having to write out the same tasks over and over again each week.  It is so much easier just to stamp them on my pages and I like how they look too, so much nicer than my handwriting!

You can read the rest of my post here.

My week #38

I know, I know.... Alice in Wonderland again!  I am always drawn to Alice themed stickers when I see them and these were no exception.

My week in my Filofax #38

I had to write myself lots of little reminders this week, now school has been back for a couple of weeks all the after school clubs are starting again so I had a few permission slips to fill in and return.  My daughter has joined the football team and the school choir, my son has joined a chess class and they have both auditioned for the school pantomime.  I'm going to have lots of rehearsals and events to keep track of, I don't know how I would manage without a planner!

My poor husband had to have a wisdom tooth removed on Monday, a week later and he is still suffering.  I really hope I will never need to have any of mine out, I'm such a wuss!

All set up for autumn in my ochre Malden!

As I said at the start of the month, I'm so ready for autumn.  I decided to move back into my Malden as it feels perfect for this time of year.  As soon as I put my pages onto the rings I realised how much I had missed using it!  I still adore the leather and the beautiful ochre colour, it is definitely my most luxurious feeling planner.

My perfect planner for autumn

I think the Malden is the kind of Filofax that looks better and better the more you use it.  It can handle the odd scuff or scratch, they just add character.  It is nice not having to baby this binder, it can go straight into my bag and I don't have to worry about it.  I still love my yellow Original but I always have to be so careful with it so it doesn't get dirty or marked.  Using the Malden this past couple of weeks has been a refreshing change.

I have kept my set up the same, it has been working for me so I didn't feel the need to mess with it.  I have sections for my weekly pages, my monthly pages, my qimmis yearly overview, blog ideas, notes, lists and passwords.  I don't write my full password, just the first and last letter or number so if I lost my planner whoever found it wouldn't have access to too much information.

I am using these amazingly autumnal dashboards from Mrs Brimbles,  I had to show them off because they match my Malden perfectly!  Every time I open my planner and see these they make me smile.  The hedgehog's rosy cheeks are so cute and I love the colours on the pumpkin one too.

So that's me all ready to see out the last quarter of the year, bring on the toffee apples, warm cider and woolly jumpers please!

My week #37

So did you know I am a bit of a crazy cat lady?  I had a gift voucher for eBay so I went straight to one of my favourite sellers (rikyandnina) and when I saw these kitty stickers I had to buy them!

My week in my Filofax #37

I had a bit of a mad week, everything that could go wrong did!  My washing machine broke down, my microwave was trying to explode, my toilet broke and the kitchen sink started to leak because of a faulty pipe.   I spent a lot of time  waiting in for repair men and plumbers but thankfully by Sunday everything was repaired and back to normal.

My week #36

After doing a coffee themed week a little while ago I thought it was only fair to celebrate my love of tea and cake with it's own week too!  I brought these stickers from Paperchase ages ago but I'm using them very sparingly as they have been discontinued and I will be sad when they are all gone.

My week in my Filofax #36

School started again this week so I spent a few days getting the house straight and then my tiny little girl had her first day at nursery school.  I couldn't believe how quiet it was without her but I'm hoping having mornings to myself means I can get more done, including more blog posts.  I have so many ideas that I haven't had a chance to write yet!

How was your week?

My week #35

Happy September!  This is the beginning of my favourite time of the year, I'm really looking forward to feeling a chill in the air and seeing the leaves change colour.  I might even have already sorted out a couple of my favourite jumpers and washed my big winter coat in preparation!

My week in my Filofax #35

I had quite a few things listed to do last week, most of them were getting things ready for school starting again tomorrow.  That meant I didn't have enough room for recording my feelings each day so I used one of my cute owl note cards instead.  I'm expecting my pages will be fuller once I have to start adding reminders about school events, choir practises and homework.  I might have to use note cards each week to give me extra space so I can keep using the journalling stamps.
