Hi,
ReplyDeleteHappy Second Blogiversary!
I am useless at being organised so no tips to give but the Filofax would help me a lot
Thank you Tracey!
DeleteLol yes it would help ;) Good luck!
Sorry I forgot to say I follow you on Bloglovin & GFC xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat I'll put you down for two entries:)
DeleteCongratulations on your blogiversary, and thankyou for putting together such a lovely giveaway! :) just about to follow you on BlogLovin' xx (I'm Chloe Murray from UKPA, for some reason my phone won't let me sign in!)
ReplyDeleteThank you Chloe! I will add your entries to the list ;)
DeleteHow kind of you to have such an excellent giveaway! I have the patent in duck egg and must say it's a great little filofax :)
ReplyDeleteMy best planning tip is: do it every day! I find myself at a complete loss without my planner! :p
I'd love to follow you on bloglovin but i cant quite work out how from my mobile! :p
Thanks again, Elli :)
Thank you Elli, that's a great tip!
Deleteyay, hello! would even say "hello sunshine" regarding the filofax :D
ReplyDeleteHi Qxi, thanks for your entry :)
DeleteCongrats once more :) this beauty has never appeared in Portugal, so curious. I would say that my best tip for keeping it light for an "On the Go" planner is always asking yourself "Do I really need this all the time with me?" before puting anything on it. This way I managed to keep a quite light On the go planner :) I follow you on Bloglovin. Hugs from the Organized Scientist ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you Susana! Yes it is really easy to end up with a very heavy filo so I love your tip :)
DeleteCongrats!! My best planner tip is to make lists and be consistent! (I try!!) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! That's what I try to do too, write it down and then do it :)
DeleteCongratulations Amanda on reaching this goal! I have been following you for a good chunck of that time. I love how you decorate your planner and am always checking for blog updates! I follow you on Bloglovin' and Facebook. My biggest tip would be to not get caught up in how everyone else pretties up their planner and make yours you. I really got caught up in it all and spent so much time trying to make it pretty that it wasn't working for me. I am now down to minimal decorations so there is more room for my documenting! I also use half the width of the skinny washi to decorate between my days and the regular with at the top and bottom of the pages. To make it half the width, I found it easiest to put a strip of washi on wax paper and simply cut in half. It peels and sticks really easy. I have also done this to make my own die cut look. Thank you for the opportunity to win my very first Filofax! Congratulations again!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lynette! You are so sweet :) I love all your tips too, I will add your entries to my list!
DeleteHappy birthday and what a lovely prize! I follow you on bloglovin and google+ as I can't get enough of your lovely pages!
ReplyDeleteMy planner tip would be to always fill your planner with things that make you smile, that way you've always got something to smile about xx
Thank you, that's lovely! I will add your entries to the list :)
DeleteCongrats! My tip is to set aside planning time each week and to write things on post it notes if they are not set in stone.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on GFC :)
Great tip Sarah! I will add your entries to my list :)
DeleteHi Amanda congratulations I follow you via email, my tip for a planner is always make sure you secure your pen in holder nothing worse than having to hunt around searching for a pen!
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara! That's so true I hate looking for a pen and not being able to find one >.<
DeleteI will add your entries to my list.
happy year 2!! what an achievement! im following via email. my main tip to all newbies is to sit with a pen and paper and think how you want your planner to work for you. figure out what sections you want and need, source pages that you are going to WANT to use! it doesnt have to follow the traditional filofax set up. you can include anything and everything! then have fun with it, personalise it. washi tape and stickers are always a favourite amongst the ladies in UK Planner Addicts. I have a growing collection myself and love to decorate my planner daily. A Filofax is a great tool, so flexible. Make it work for you! love, Lo Lah - UK Planner Addicts <3
ReplyDeleteyay it worked this time :)
DeleteThank you Lo Lah, that's a great piece of advice! I will add your entries to my list :)
DeleteHappy Second Blogiversary! That's something to celebrate. :]
ReplyDeleteI love the lemon color of the Filofax and the bunny paper clip is so cute.
I follow you on GFC and Google+ as Amy Orvin
~Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!~
Thank you Amy! I love the colour too and I'm going to try and make more of the paper clips at some point :)
DeleteI will add your entries to my list.
Hi! Happy anniversary! Congratulations 🎊 Herrs to many more successful years to come! I certainly do follow your blog by email. It means something beautiful is dropped into my inbox!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Geraldine! I will add your entries to my list :)
DeleteTwo years already! How time flies!
ReplyDeletemy best Filofax advice is to use top tabs if you can, especially in compacts. Side tabs stop pens fitting properly.
And I follow you on bloglovin and google+ I think?
You're right!
DeleteI like top tabs too, I tend to use both in mine.
I will add your entries to my list ;)
Adorable! Following via email. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI will add your entries to my list :)
Hi and congrats! My best tip at the moment is to use Frixion pens. Erasable ink pens from pilot. They really work and are great for writing things in that are not confirmed and may change. I also follow you on google + and thanks for the give away.... Lurrrrrve the lemon!
ReplyDeleteAlison Minguillon
Hi Alison and thank you! Can you believe I haven't tried Frixion pens yet!?
DeleteI will add your entries to my list :)
Grats on your anniversary! My tip would be not to watch and search how other people use their planners too much, especially as a starter (but also later on) it's really easy to get carried away and blindly copy things you think that look nice but in the end of the day don't really work for you.
ReplyDeleteI've been actually stalking your blog through my Feedly but with this opportunity I started following also on bloglovin and google though I don't use them all that much :P
Thank you! I totally agree, find what works best for you instead of someone else :)
DeleteI will add your entries to my list.
Congrats on your anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteMy best planner tip - use the darn thing, but don't let it rule your time! Get stuff done away from planning your day, ha!
I follow you by Feedly, actually, but just added you to BlogLovin - I realize the stats are helpful through there, so I've been trying to add people on it, but I hate how it's set up...so I just ignore that account :/ But Feedly, now that I check multiple times a day, ha!
Thanks Jessica :)
DeleteSometimes I think my week looks a mess but I try to tell myself as long as I got everything done that I needed to then it has done its job and I shouldn't worry about it.
I will add your entries to my list.
Hi, Amanda!

Indonesia
Thank you Ija! Yes having fun is important :)
DeleteI will add your entries to my list xx
I'm a pretty new subscriber and pretty new to using a planner so I don't think I have any great tips. I just use a very cheap ($2) planner and I decorate my pages a month at a time. But it works for me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogaversary! Thanks for the chance to win.
P.S. I follow by Bloglovin'
Thank you Cassie! I will add your entries to my list :)
DeleteHi, "Happy 2nd Blogiversary''
ReplyDeleteI remember when you started out & it really doesn't seem that long ago..

ReplyDeleteOh no Elaine! I had a similar mishap with a toddler and a pen >.<
DeleteI'll add your entries to my list!
Happy 2nd blog anniversary! It's always a pleasure to see what your pages looks like cause they're always pretty! Anyways, my best planner tip would be to always carry your planner around. I write almost EVERYTHING in my planner which is why it's good that I always have it with me. It would be nice to have the compact planner! Less weight and space to carry around :D Btw, I follow you on Bloglovin!
ReplyDeleteI hope the rest of the year is good for you. Takecare xo
Aww thank you LMarielle! I'll add your entries to my list and you have a great year too :)

Hello Amanda!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect happy giveaway to celebrate a blogiversary. My best planner tip: if you can't find narrow washi tape, use a razor blade (or similar) to score down the middle of a standard size roll of washi tape. Et voila!
I follow you on Bloglovin.
Oooh that's a great tip!! Thank you :)
DeleteI will add your entries to my list.
I use letters and Highlighter colors to remind me of things that need to happen often on my month at a glance pages so i don't forget. For example:
ReplyDeleteT+blue highlighter = Trash day
P+Green Highlighter = Pay Day
F.B.+ Pink Highlighter = Time to flip my bed
I Follow you on Bloglovin!
Thanks Candace, that's a good idea!
DeleteI will add your entries to my list :)

ReplyDeleteThanks to philofaxy blog I found your blog and follow it on Feedly, I believe it can be called following by email. Thank you for the time and effort you put in this blog. Hope you'll celebrate many beautiful anniversaries.
I am new in Filofax family, just got a pocket baby chameleon. The best tip for me is to stop reading endless tips&tricks on various sites somehow and start planning :) I am dying at every YouTube video on Filofax setup and planning. Now I saw this compact sunny patent and I want it soooo bad!) what are you doing to me? ;)
Now that I know you have all those accounts I followed you on Google+, Instagram and your Filofax Love on Pinterest.
DeleteThank you so much i-ya-u :) Good luck with the draw! I will add your entries to my list.
DeleteWhat a cute little filofax! I've never had a compact size before and I have been looking at them.. fingers crossed. My tip is to write all appointments, shifts etc in pencil then one evening I then get creative and jazz it all up.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Bloglovin' (anneeapple) xx
Thanks AnneeApple, good luck with the draw! I will add your entries to my list :)
DeleteMy planner suggestion is to decorate important dates with washi & page flags so they stand out.

DeleteHi Amanda, Happy Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I am entering a Filofax contest or to say any contest online. I follow you through email.
My tip would be about to do lists. I think a master to do list should be used instead of number of different to do lists.
Thank you, good luck with the draw :) I will add your entries to my list!
DeleteHappy Anniversary and thanks for the very generous giveaway. I follow by email. My tip is not to make your planning too complicated or you will not use your planner. Allow it to be for quickly jotted notes and maybe not perfect handwriting, or the exact colour code as the most important thing is having the correct information.
ReplyDeleteI agree Morag! Thanks for your entries :)
DeleteHappy Anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteI think my planning tip would be to just start a routine to plan. Make to do lists every day when you get up and plan out your week. I like to decorate every Sunday for the week so that I have cute pages to look at too. 😊
Thank you so much for the chance to win your awesome giveaway!!
Ashley
I forgot to mention that I follow your blog via Bloglovin as well. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great tip Ash! Thanks for your entries:)
DeleteI haven't had a planner before, but would love to try one! So thank you for the giveaway! My best planning tip is to break things into smaller tasks to better accomplish your plans. Thanks again! msmissy02 at gmail dot com

Hi Amanda and happy 2nd blogiversary! I just recently started following you on Bloglovin. I have maintained a planner for many years, but have just recently discovered the world of planner decorating. I love the way you decorate your pages and am now obsessed with your reinforcement circles! I can't decide which to buy, I want them all!
ReplyDeleteLove this Blog. I am following you on bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd Blogiversary.
I am getting more into using my filofax personal. One of my planner tips is using washi tape down the side to help reinforce your holes. (but I just love decorating.)
Thank you so much, I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteHappy Blogiversary! Two years is a great milestone.
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is to take your planner with you everywhere, as it will only be useful if it's always handy.
Thank you, I've added you to my list! :)
DeleteYay, happy second blog anniversary!! So glad I found you and the world of Filofax. I have been using some sort of planner for as long as I can remember, but don't really have any tips. I'm a sad planner as I have never decorated them. Never knew I could until I found you. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you Rebecca! You should give it a go ;)
DeleteI will add you to my list!
Eee, love the lemon colour! So spring-y! I don't really have any great planning tips as I'm a bit disorganised by nature, but I try to make lists and more lists, and lists of lists.. I've got my fingers crossed! I follow on bloglovin too:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteCongrats on your 2 year blogiversary! So glad your going strong. I follow on blogluvin, so excited to see your posts every time. ReplyDelete<3 a newly addicted planner :-)
Hi Ali! Thank you, I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteHi! I'm a newbie in the planner community, I just followed you on the google friend connect thing too~ I think my tip would be to control your spending urges when it comes to decorating a planner >_< I got really overwhelmed by all the videos and posts out there and it's important to keep sight of the real purpose of a planner: to plan! Congrats on your 2 year blogiversary btw!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your second blogiversary! I've been looking for a way to get more organized as a student, and I stumbled across an entire filofax community :) I think it's such a cute way to stay organized!
ReplyDeleteI started following you on google+ :)
-Karen
Thank you, I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteHi! I found you on Instagram and now follow you on Bloglovin. I'm new to the planner community so I don't really have any tips...yet.
ReplyDeleteHi! Congratulations! My tip woukd be to not be too prescriptive and love your own style (even when it looks nothing like the beautiful layouts you see online)
ReplyDeleteHi Zaiga! Thank you, I've added you to my list! :)
DeleteMy tip is that you should write down every phone call to a company you have to refer to it later. Try to get the CS person's name or booth number too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's a great tip. I've added you to my list! :)
DeleteBetween this and the weekly decoration post just up today, I am ready for spring! And Easter!! Thanks for the chance to win - I'm new to planning and started with a $2 planner; an upgrade might be even more fun!
ReplyDeleteCassie I can't wait for spring! I will add you to my list:)
DeleteHi Amanda, so happy to have found your blog. My tip is to colour and embellish freely, I am more likely to use my filofax daily if it makes me smile when I open it :-)
ReplyDeleteI follow you by email
Hi Linnet, I'm the same! Thank you, I've added your entries to my list :)
DeleteI am new and so excited to have found you! Your blog is very inspiring and beautiful! I am using Bloglovin to follow you. Congrats and your blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Crysta! I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteHappy Blogiversary from Portugal!
ReplyDeleteI follow you by e-mail and on Phylofaxy web finds!
Planning tip: when I feel overwhelmed with lot of tasks to do I like to write them down (all of them!) and strike over as I complete them. This helps me to not forget anything and also to prioritize more clearly.
Thank you Caria, I like to check things off a list too! I've added your entries to my list! :)
DeleteCongratulations on your second year!!! I'm so happy I found you :) I am now following you on instagram and your blog by email. I can't wait to go look around at all you offer. Thank you for this awesome givaway!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Renee! I've added your entries to my list :)
DeleteIt's me it's me!!! I'm so excited and can't quite believe it! At the grand old age of 41, this is by far the best and most exciting prize I've ever been lucky enough to win! Although saying that, the last prize I won was a 10 pounds meat voucher in the local school fair- & as a vege it wasn't the greatest haha! Thank you to the moon and back Amanda! My dogs are wondering why I'm sitting at the laptop all happy. Thank goodness I realised in time! Well I've been reading your blog and loving your great photos and inspiration since day one and hope you carry on forever! Big grateful love xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you PurpleDolly1 I'm so glad you're excited!!
Delete& unbelievably it has arrived today! Wow! Most impressive! Beautifully packaged with funky washi tape & cute stickers-an absolute pleasure to unwrap. It goes without saying that I luuuurve it- it's so great to be able to try a compact; it'll be perfect for my handbag :-) I'm loving yellow atm & it's a beautiful ice creamy yellow, not a sickly pastel tone if that makes sense. So perfect for Spring; I've been playing with all my stickers, sticky notes, paper clips, flags etc-one of my most relaxing & favourite things to do. I've some lovely green accessories which I think will go perfectly & a gorgeous owl pen to pop in the pen loop. Thank you , thank you, thank you. I am super happy & super grateful & will share some pics once it's decorated :-) Mwah! xxx
ReplyDeleteWow I can't believe it arrived so quickly! I'm glad you like it all, I can't wait to see it all set up! :) xx
