#filophotofriday - April round up and May's prompts

Apologies, when I usually write these posts I include photos that other people have taken for my challenge.  Today I'm having a technical issue with Instagram and it won't load the photos when I search for the #filophotofriday tag so I can only show you my pics.

My Easter week pages were very, very pink.  I love the rabbit washi tape and the fun hole reinforcements.

I know I already showed you my cupcake charm during this post but it was upside down in that photo and I really wanted to show it off the right way round!  Look at that little smile!  It definitely makes me happy.  If you want your own cupcake charm you can contact Ruth through her Etsy shop, she's lovely and very helpful.

You can't get much more Eastery (that's a word right?) than a hot cross bun and a chocolate bunny!  I ate the bun after I took this shot but the rabbit went back in the cupboard because it wasn't Easter Sunday and I'm a good girl.

... Owls and ladybirds.  I got this sweet love bug badge from Loving Dot a couple of weeks ago and my lovely friend Kath sent me the ladybird beads.  I have punched a couple of holes in the owl mini ruler and am now using it as a page marker.

My week #5

My pages this week are far too pink and girly even for me!  I tried to tone it down with blue, purple and gold but it is still very pink.

I had quite a busy week with lots of things to do and remember.  I did complete the last of them this morning but I forgot to tick them off before I took these photos.  I am planning on spending the rest of today relaxing and reading a good book - Faye Kellerman's The Beast for those who are interested.

I said last week that I had an idea I wanted to share with you, I did announce it on Thursday but just in case you missed it I thought I would mention it now.  I am starting a weekly photo challenge called #filophotofriday where you take one photo a week and share it on a Friday.  You can find all the info and the prompts for February here.  It will start on this Friday, the 7th February if you want to join in.

Introducing #filophotofriday

I really enjoy taking part in Yay, for Fridays! photo challenge every three months.  I have flirted with others in the past but I find doing monthly challenges one after another too much of a hassle and it stops being fun.  This is where the idea for a once a week challenge came from.  It should be easy enough to take a photo when you have a spare five minutes, a good idea and the right lighting (or is that just me?  It's been so dark here recently!) during the week and then post it on Friday with the hashtag #filophotofriday on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.  I hope it will be a fun way to share photos of our planners without being too much of a chore. 

I thought the first Friday in February would be a good day to start so here are the prompts for the first month of this challenge.

Everyone with any kind of planner is welcome to join in and I hope to see some of your photos next week!
