2015 - My Weeks #51 & #52

Hello!  Happy new year!  I've blinked and suddenly it's 2016 and I have gone a couple of weeks without posting anything, yikes!  Christmas flew by so quickly and now I find myself with a touch of the January blues, but they won't be around for long because the 8th January is my blogiversary and She's Eclectic will be three years old!  As I mentioned before I will be running some giveaways to celebrate so I am really looking forward to showing you what the prizes are, I hope you like them.  Make sure you check back here tomorrow for details of the first giveaway!

On to today's business, I want to share my final two weeks of 2015 with you!

Week #51

This week was really busy, I didn't even have a chance to use my regular planner stamps.  I ended up hand writing my to do lists and reminders and it all looks a bit messy but it kept me on track so I'm not complaining!

My week #51

As usual the school packed everything into the last week of term so I was up there for two concerts, two Christmas discos and a couple of special assemblies as well.  I was so relieved when they broke up for the holiday and I could finally relax a little!

Week #52

Christmas week was much calmer, most of my reminders were to do with Christmas lunch and when to prep and prepare things for it.  I only have a small oven with one shelf so cooking a big meal for five of us needs to be planned properly ahead of time or it could be a disaster!

My week #52

I have a separate timetable in my Dodo Book Of Christmas where I have broken down all the things I need to do in advance for Christmas lunch so I followed that and just popped a few reminders on my diary pages so I wouldn't forget them.

My week #50

Hello again!  The second week of December was just as busy as the first but I didn't care because I had the most Christmasy planner pages ever!  Every time I opened my organiser to check what I had to do I felt so festive and excited that I powered through my to do lists easily.

My week #50

On Monday I put our Christmas tree up and covered the house in fairy lights and tinsel.  I love how it looks when it is all finished and I can sit down with a hot drink and enjoy feeling warm and cosy.  My current favourite is black cherry hot chocolate, it is delicious!

Next month this blog will be three years old so I have been arranging some prizes to celebrate.  I will be running giveaways here on the blog, on my Facebook page and my Instagram account so make sure you are following them so you don't miss out!  There is also still time to enter my Japan Candy Box giveaway, you can find the details here.

My week #49

Eeeeek there's less than a week to go until Christmas and I am so excited!  Back in November I decorated all of my December pages in advance and that made me feel very festive and organised.

My week #49

I knew that I would have lots of things to do so I made sure I stamped plenty of check boxes for my lists.  I also left a lot of space for my notes and reminders because December tends to be quite a busy month.  There is always a concert or three going on and performances, plays and fairs to attend so I need to note them down or I would forget.

My week #30

I love the quote "Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons" so when I saw these flamingo stamps in Lorabailora's summer 2015 collection along with the matching washi tape I was instantly drawn to them!  I ordered a few rolls of different washis from her including the selfie tape I used last week and a couple more you will be seeing soon.  They are really fun!

My week #30

I hadn't really thought about colouring in my stamps before.  I joined a planner stamping group on Facebook a few weeks ago and saw other people doing it so I gave it a go this week and I like it.  It has given me a few ideas for my other stamps I haven't used in a while.

I am such a big flamingo fan that this is one of my favourite necklaces from Jubly Umph, I like being able to match my jewellery to my planner pages and feeling coordinated.  It doesn't happen often!

My week #29

A little birdie told me the summer holidays have finally started!  Yay!  I just love this bird print washi tape and I have brought a new blue ink pad for my stamps so I went with a completely blue theme for this week.

My week in my Filofax #29

The to do tag I have popped on my rings is a list of posts I want to write but haven't got around to yet.  I am going to keep moving the list over each week until I have checked them all off.  I think it is a good way to keep on track of what I need to do and will inspire me to get them written and published.  I haven't listed them in a specific order, I will just tackle them as and when I can during the school holiday.  Hopefully they will all be checked off by the start of September.

As you can see I am still using my Feeling Happy Planner Stamps to record how I am feeling each day.  I think they are really fun!  I spent most of the week feeling happy and excited for the school hols to start and my parcel from Coolpencilcase.com arrived with some products for me to review so overall it was a fab week.

Ruth at Kawaii Studios has been busy making lots of super cute planner charms recently.  Her Etsy shop reopens again tomorrow (22nd July) so if you have been admiring my sweet cupcake charm and want to get one of your own pop over tomorrow and take a look.  Her products usually sell out pretty quickly so you will have to be fast if you want to get your hands on one!

Thanks for reading and have a great week!
